What a beautiful day to celebrate the 4th of July!
All right—a belated fourth of July.
It rained and rained & rained some more here in New England yesterday so cookouts became cook-ins, beach days turned into garage parties (I saw a few on my commute to work...hey gotta do what ya gotta do) but, from what it seemed the rain did not discourage anyone's festiveness or cause any party poopers.
Way to go America.
I was scheduled to work until close and no way was I missing any of the fourth goodies—so I faced the rain and grilled up some salmon for a dinner at work—anddd blueberry pie is always a must-make in my family.
I hope you all had a happy & fun Fourth of July and hopefully can enjoy a little sun & sand today.
