Falling into fall

An apple pie, clear blue sky, and pumpkin everything, oh my!

Since it is officially autumn, my roommates and I wasted no time to start the fall festivities.

Saturday, we hit the pumpkin patch bright and early—we had a whale of a time if you couldn't tell—
(The pink whale hats are courtesy of my roommate who is a Vineyard Vines whale rep).

We weaved through the corn maze, rode the hay ride, picked some pumpkins, ate some pie, and got to apple pickin'—and snackin'.

There is something beautiful about the start of fall—when only a few leaves are starting to speckle with the autumn brights and the air is not yet crisp but has a feeling of summer still lingering in it.

This is my favorite time of the year.
& of course the fashion only makes it 100x better.

In with the new

Just in time for Fall.

Well, it's been three weeks of school, time for a treat.

My new tote has arrived today from Cuyana.
I first had bought my brother an overnight bag from them and almost kept it for myself...a true sign that I needed a little something too.

After ripping open the box in .3 seconds, I moved all my books over and wasted no time breaking this bad boy in—5 hours and 3 classes later, I'm in love.

The bag is structured, soft, buttery leather, and the color is just perfect.

Pause, please!

Wait, you're telling me it's only been a week?!

Class here, study there, work, read, and type.

Welcome back to school, kids.

I am back at Providence College, cozied into my new dorm room and busy (already?) with school work.
It's good to be back at the place I love so, SO much and to be back with the people I know will be friends for a lifetime.

Even though this concludes our first full week of classes, my professors have sure not failed to keep us busy—I've been living by the wise words of our good friend, Theodore Roosevelt.

"Whenever you are asked if you can do a job, tell 'em 'certainly I can!'
Then get busy and find out how to do it. "

Wise words Teddy.
Especially to the college student who says "yes" to intramural water polo games at 10:00 PM, and "yes", I can help at this and that event. And for those wondering, "yes" weekends do start on Wednesday nights...and Thursdays.

Here's some snapshots from just my first week back at Providence—living in complete college-kid-bliss.
